El Entertainment Science Campus, de Planeta Formación y Universidades, será el primer campus de ciencias del entretenimiento de Europa
28 de julio de 2020- El alcalde, Jesús Moreno, acompañado por los concejales del equipo de Gobierno, se ha reunido con Planeta Formación y Universidades, la división de formación de Grupo Planeta, para conocer el proyecto Entertainment Science Campus.
El que será director de este campus universitario en Tres Cantos, José Ramos, y su directora de Marketing Corporativo, Sonia Cuenca, han presentado el innovador campus universitario especializado en diversas disciplinas relacionadas con la industria del ocio y el entretenimiento, que va tomando forma dentro de Madrid Content City.
Con visión de hub educativo y con vocación de ser un referente internacional, el campus, denominado Entertainment Science Campus, será el primer campus de ciencias del entretenimiento de Europa. Un proyecto contemporáneo de educación superior entendido como un ecosistema innovador donde la industria, la universidad y los profesionales se desarrollen juntos.
Con la idea de ser un campus vivo, contará con un nuevo modelo pedagógico que integre la evolución en habilidades, disciplinas y múltiples perfiles que respondan a las perspectivas y necesidades de contratación reales en la industria audiovisual. Cabe destacar que este proyecto se integrará en la tercera fase de Madrid Content City. Fase que cuando esté en pleno funcionamiento, sus instalaciones tendrán un flujo de más de 11.000 personas desarrollando actividades profesionales y educativas en el complejo.
El alcalde, Jesús Moreno, ha señalado: “Gracias a Entertainment Science Campus se formarán los nuevos expertos del sector del futuro y se dará respuesta a la demanda real de nuevos profesionales” y ha añadido: “estamos trabajando conjuntamente para poder ofrecer becas de estudio a los futuros alumnos de Tres Cantos y dar preferencia en empleo a nuestros vecinos”.
Planeta Formación y Universidades, la división de formación de Grupo Planeta, es una red internacional de educación superior que cuenta con una veintena instituciones educativas en España, Andorra, Francia, Italia, Norte de África y Colombia entre las que se encuentran universidades, escuelas de negocios, escuelas superiores especializadas, centros de formación profesional y escuelas de formación continua en las que cada año se forman más de 100.000 estudiantes procedentes de más de 114 nacionalidades distintas en modalidad presencial, online e híbrida.
